CoR-TEC Learning Center

CoR-TEC

The vision for the new learning center is to create a comprehensive educational resource for children from birth to twelve years old, in an integrated environment focused on an innovative child-centered agenda.  The Community of Riverside Teaching & Education Collaborative (CoR-TEC) Campus is conceptually based on the miracle of early brain development.  These insights dramatically highlight the important link between the quality of the learning environment and the development of the child.  The campus masterplan design extends the non-linear curriculum approach of the school to the organization of the campus itself.  Classroom studios are grouped into learning villages with distinct educational themes, which are linked through a 'neural network' of primary and secondary pathways.  In addition to the elementary school program, CoR-TEC includes classrooms for collegiate education, as well as a public Senior Center, Performing Arts Theater, Family Center, and Museum in a diverse education-themed environment.
