Pasadena Office
Images Description Credits
A New Office of Architecture was created within the Adaptive Reuse of an historic 1917 Theater. The new office is located on the second floor, overlooking Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena

The building contains two distinct structural systems. The original structure of masonry bearing walls and bowstring trusses and a renovated structure of gunite walls and a steel braced frame.
The challenge was to create an open and efficient workspace around these two unique structural systems.

The completed environment exhibits and celebrates the building construction and structural systems, which function as a teaching and learning laboratory for our staff and clients.
